Personalized Academic Advising
Every CNA student has access to guidance staff who help with course selection, credit tracking toward the OSSD, timelines, and university/college planning. We proactively monitor progress and reach out when a student needs support.
- Course Planning- Pick the right credits for your goals.
- Progress Monitoring- We track pace and check in early.
- Pathway Advice- University, college and career guidance.
While our administrative team is on hand to respond to general enquiries, you (or your parents) may wish to book a dedicated time to discuss your academic progress in depth with an experienced counsellor.
For this reason, we provide convenient access to one-on-one guidance consultations with our counselling team. Current and prospective students are welcome to connect with us for support regarding:
- clearer understanding of graduation requirements
- discussions on pathway options
- assistance with course selection
- personalized study plans tailored to your individual learning pace and academic goals
- post-secondary application guidance
- planning for out-of-province or international study
- any other questions or concerns you may have
This service is offered free of charge to all CNA students. Appointments require a minimum of one week’s advance request.
One-on-One Tutoring
We aim to help students achieve the best possible outcomes in their Canada Nord Academy courses. For this reason, we provide ongoing teacher support via email or scheduled office hours, alongside one-on-one online tutoring for challenging subject areas and assignment assistance. Students may contact admissions@nordeducation.com to arrange a 20-minute tutoring session with a tutor as required.
